About the role
As ANUM, you will support the Nurse Unit Manager in leading clinical operations and fostering a safe, therapeutic, and recovery-focused culture. You will:
* Provide clinical leadership within a community residential care setting
* Coordinate care that promotes independence, recovery, and community integration
* Lead staff in delivering non-coercive, trauma-informed care, reducing restrictive practices
* Support staff development, supervision, and performance processes
* Ensure high standards of clinical governance, documentation, and compliance
* Build strong partnerships with consumers, carers, and community services
* Contribute to continuous improvement, safety, and quality initiatives
About you
You are a skilled mental health nurse with leadership experience and a strong commitment to recovery‐oriented practice in community settings. You will bring:
* Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and a post‐basic qualification in mental health nursing
* Demonstrated experience in a senior or leadership role
* Strong understanding of community‐based mental health care and residential models
* Proven ability to lead, support and develop multidisciplinary teams
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Sound clinical knowledge and commitment to best practice
* Current Victorian Driver's Licence
