Application deadline: February 3, ****.Heidelberg Materials Australia are now looking for candidates to join our ready-mix concrete team for an exciting project based at the Fosterville Goldmine, near Bendigo in regional Victoria.
We currently have a role available for a casual agitator driver with batching experience, as you will be required to load, batch and deliver your own concrete loads underground.
We are looking for candidates who are reliable, safety focused and have a can-do attitude.
Underground experience would be highly regarded, however not essential.
This role does not offer accommodation, so only local candidates need apply.ResponsibilitiesBatch, slump and deliver concrete underground.Manage and monitor orders to ensure delivery and products meet quality requirements.Operate a heavy vehicle and FEL in a safe and efficient manner.Have sufficient working knowledge of the product to comply with relevant delivery standards.Communicate customer feedback to the batch plant, other drivers and the management team.Assist with maintenance tasks including yard duties and daily cleaning of the truck.Who should applyAre a team player who can multi-task and make effective decisions under pressure.Have a passion for delivering remarkable customer service and great results.Are a natural problem solver and enjoy planning and troubleshooting.Want to contribute to the overall performance of the Heidelberg Materials Australia business.Be able to operate a concrete batching plant (Command batch) and a computer.Hold a valid HR licence, required.Hold a current Front End Loader ticket, required.Have experience working underground, preferred.Have SAP and Command batch experience, preferred.BenefitsBase hourly rate of $***** / hour – inclusive of casual loading.All uniforms & PPE provided.Be part of a highly recognised global brand name and growing organisation.Ongoing career and development opportunities.Heidelberg Materials Australia is proud of our culturally diverse and inclusive workforce.
