Client-side Facilities Manager Team Leader - large educational institute, permanent role. East based.

**Your new role**
In your role, you will be responsible for:

- Ensuring that facilities issues are lodged, tracked, and completed within agreed time periods on the work order management system
- Manage all Campus work orders ensuring KPIs are met
- Ensure repair and maintenance tasks (planned, reactionary and adhoc) are completed in a timely and professional manner while maintaining compliant OHS standards
- Respond, assess and resolve general maintenance requests and complaints, approach may include hands on, onsite support or escalation to external parties
- Manage the performance of hard and soft service contractors, ensuring they meet service standards, and their work is certified as satisfactory

**What you'll need to succeed**
To succeed in this role, you will have:

- Qualifications and experience in Facilities Management, Trades (building/construction) - highly desirable
- A sound understanding of the building industry
- Public Sector, higher education or not-for-profit industry experience - highly desirable
- MS suite proficient
- Strong contractor and people management experience in the facilities hard and soft services space
- Excellent interpersonal skills, dealing with a wide range of stakeholders
