As we embark on an exciting phase of growth, we are seeking an experienced and driven General Manager to lead one of our flagship properties and help shape the future of our brand. We operate properties in Australia and the Pacific, including Iririki Island Resort and Beachcomber in Fiji.
Responsibilities
* Lead day-to-day hotel operations to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and operational efficiency
* Manage renovation and upgrade projects, ensuring adherence to budget and timelines
* Oversee maintenance and safety standards across all facilities
* Implement strategic initiatives to drive profitability and service excellence
* Mentor and lead cross-functional teams to foster a collaborative and high-performance culture
* Manage vendor relationships and operational contracts
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Senior Manager in the hotel industry
* Strong background in property renovations, upgrades, and maintenance management
* Operational expertise with a focus on customer service
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
* Ability to manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and oversee large-scale projects
* Proficiency in RMS is highly regarded
* Open to relocation within Australia and the Pacific is a must
What We Offer
* Competitive salary package: $170,000 package made up of a $120,000 base salary plus $20,000 in KPI-based incentives, plus a furnished onsite apartment valued at $30,000
