We are looking for a Sydney-based Commercial Manager / Senior Quantity Surveyor to represent Turner & Townsend in our clients' office.
Key Responsibilities
* Client Claims: Contribute to contract claim preparation and review financial information.
* Client Communication: Manage communication between Turner & Townsend and the client.
* Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiation and support agreement of contracts with clients and project stakeholders.
* Financial Management: Manage project budgets, provide commercial management services, produce and present financial statements, and offer timely commercial advice.
* Transactional Compliance: Monitor transaction compliance, including deliverables, costs, forecasting, and invoicing.
* Risk Management & Compliance: Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, identify financial and contractual risks, and implement risk mitigation strategies.
* Continuous Improvement: Review and develop new processes to streamline transactional activities.
* Relationship Building: Proactively build relationships with key stakeholders and develop business opportunities.
* Mentorship: Mentor and support junior colleagues.
Requirements
* A recognised degree in a technical field such as Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Commercial Management.
* At least 7 years of experience working on complex, large-scale, and multi-disciplinary projects in transport and/or infrastructure.
* Chartered membership of a relevant industry body is advantageous but not essential.
* A high level of attention to detail and strong communication skills.
