Employment Term: Part-Time – 6 Month Fixed Term Contract (with possibility of extension)
Location: Lowood Aged Care Facility
Remuneration:
$31.44 per hour
+ Superannuation + Not-for-Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & Allowances
Responsibilities
Prepare, cook and serve food in adherence with dietary requirements with a strong focus on food safety standards.
Support senior hospitality staff with menu design and implementation.
Promote quality standards and maintain service with standard operating procedures.
Role Requirements
Relevant trade qualifications or equivalent skills from previous experience
Great communication skills and excellent attention to detail
Understanding of Australian food and beverage standards
Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
Proven experience in protected food preparation, storage and delivery; clear understanding of WHS; ability to work in medium-high volume meal preparation
