About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated NDIS Employment Specialist to provide operational leadership across compliance, participant employment outcomes, workforce capability, and service quality within our Enterprises division.
This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing the full NDIS supported employment participant lifecycle including onboarding, quotes, service agreements, reporting, billing coordination, compliance, and Individual Employment Plans. The role also provides leadership, coaching, and professional support to Employment Support Officers and Disability Support Workers, ensuring services align with NDIS Practice Standards, quality frameworks and participant goals.
Reporting to the Executive Manager – Transformation, you will work closely with Finance, NDIS Coordination and People & Culture to strengthen workforce capability, participant outcomes, and continuous improvement across supported employment services.
In This Role, You Will:
* Lead and manage the end-to-end NDIS participant lifecycle including onboarding, reviews, reporting, compliance, and evidence collection.
* Ensure compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, Quality Indicators, audit requirements, and organisational procedures.
* Oversee Individual Employment Plans (IEPs) and support participants to achieve meaningful employment outcomes aligned to their goals.
* Provide coaching, mentoring, and professional development to Employment Support Officers and Disability Support Workers.
* Support complex participant matters including behavioural supports, advocacy, and person-centred employment planning.
* Collaborate with Finance, NDIS Coordination, and People & Culture to maintain accurate documentation, workforce capability, and compliance processes.
* Build strong relationships with participants, families, carers, Support Coordinators, Local Area Coordinators (LACs), allied health professionals, and other stakeholders.
* Contribute to continuous improvement, policy development, service reviews, and innovation initiatives across Enterprises.
About You
You are a confident and values-driven leader with strong knowledge of the NDIS and a passion for supporting people with disability to achieve meaningful employment outcomes.
You will bring:
* Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or extensive experience in NDIS service delivery, support coordination, local area coordination, disability employment, or related fields.
* Demonstrated experience in NDIS compliance, reporting, participant lifecycle management, and audit preparation.
* Proven leadership experience within disability employment, enterprise services, or community services.
* Strong understanding of NDIS Practice Standards and person-centred practice.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and relationship management skills.
