The Role
Project Planning and Execution: Lead and deliver technology projects in insurance, aligning with business goals:
* Delivery Oversight: Ensure projects adhere to timelines and quality standards
* Obstacle Removal: Address and resolve issues hindering team progress and project delivery.
* Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
* Resource Management: Coordinate resources to optimise productivity and meet project milestones.
* Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks and dependencies.
* Quality Assurance: Ensure high-quality software delivery, meeting industry standards and regulatory requirements.
* Continuous Improvement: Drive improvements through feedback, retrospectives, and metrics.
* Reporting and Metrics: Track project metrics and KPIs, provide status updates, and use data for decision-making
What Experience You'll Bring
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or related field.
* Proven experience as a Project Manager, ideally in insurance or financial services.
* Strong knowledge of delivery methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and transformation initiatives.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
* Understanding of technology delivery processes, including SDLC, DevOps, and release management.
* PMP, CSM, or similar certifications preferred.
