THE ROLE
* Lead daily operations across bar, floor, kitchen, and entertainment
* Full ownership of financial performance budgeting, forecasting, reporting, P&L
* Drive revenue growth while holding cost control and margin discipline
* Identify opportunities to strengthen trade and lift venue performance
* Build, lead, and develop a large team through clarity and consistent leadership
* Maintain standards across compliance, safety, presentation, and execution
* Create a guest experience that drives loyalty and repeat trade
* Work with marketing and events on promotions, activations, and live sport campaigns
* Manage suppliers, contractors, and service partners for efficiency and profitability
* Build a culture of ownership supported, accountable, performance-driven
ABOUT YOU
* Proven Venue Manager or Senior Manager in a large, high-volume environment
* Strong financial literacy and confident P&L management
* Runs a venue without constant oversight and owns outcomes
* Emotionally mature, resilient, steady under pressure
* Takes direction, works constructively with ownership, leads without ego
* Strong leadership presence — professionalism, consistency, energy on the floor
* Deep understanding of food, beverage, and service operations
* Highly visible in service, leads from the front during peak trade
* Confident communicator across every level of the business
* Current RMLV and Approved Manager's Licence in QLD highly regarded
Exposure to systems like H&L, Tanda, Now Book It, Drinking the Profits, Cooking the Books, or Mr Yum will be viewed favourably but experience across all isn't essential.
