We are seeking an experienced Sales Support Coordinator to join our friendly team based in Thomastown, Vic.
Candidates must have valid Australian work rights or hold a valid work visa.
On a daily basis you will be involved in supporting the company's sales and administration, responding to technical and application issues, providing over-the-phone customer solutions, preparing proposals and quotes, and assisting external sales engineers.
The successful candidate will have either sales experience in the industrial automation sector, electrical qualifications or a strong electronic/electrical background.
In addition, you will have strong customer focus, excellent communication skills, be motivated to learn and have the ability to work in a team workplace.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Order entry and management in line with established procedures.
- Preparation of quotes and managing inbound sales inquiries.
- Supporting the Managing Director and Engineering Manager with the upkeep of technical literature
- Providing sales phone and email support.
- Stock control, invoicing, packing and shipping support.
- Assist Workshop Engineer with manufacturing of electronic instruments. Soldering and general mechanical aptitude required.
- Some industrial soldering experience is required to effectively support manufacturing duties.
- Working with the Managing Director on annual audit controls for hazardous area and quality assurance certifications.
- Maintenance of customer records and database.

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Self-motivated.
- Quick-thinking, with the ability to problem-solve effectively under pressure.
- Attention to detail, paired with excellent time management capabilities to handle multiple tasks seamlessly.
- Willingness to learn as our range changes and grows, ensuring that our customers are provided every option possible.
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the Instrumentation, Electrical or Electronics industries preferred. Graduate Chemical or Electrical engineers looking to enter this industry will be considered for this role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with hands-on experience using CRM systems.
- Experience with any CRM system is acceptable for this position.

On Offer:
This is a permanent part time role offering 25-35 hours per week Monday-Friday, with flexible start and finish times to work within the team environment (school hours possible).
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
