About the role
Tasmanian Powersports is seeking an experienced and skilled Automotive Technician to join our team in Devonport, Tasmania. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of a variety of powersports vehicles, including motorcycles, side x sides and personal watercraft's. What you'll be doing
* Conducting thorough inspections and diagnostics to identify and resolve technical issues with powersports vehicles
* Carrying out scheduled maintenance, including oil changes, tune-ups, and component replacements
* Repairing and rebuilding various vehicle systems, such as engines, transmissions, and electrical components.
* Maintaining detailed records of all work performed and parts used
* Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
What we're looking for
* Formal qualification in Automotive Mechanics or a related field
* High level attention to detail and care for customers vehicles.
* Minimum 3 years of experience as an Automotive/motorcycle Technician, preferably in the powersports industry
* Strong technical skills and a deep understanding of powersports vehicle systems and components
* Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
* Effective communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Proficient in the use of diagnostic equipment and tools
