We are seeking a strategic and creative Buying Manager to lead our next phase of growth across some of the most iconic brands in the market.
This role is perfect for someone with a passion for understanding consumer needs, spotting trends, and creating the right product mix to captivate the Australian and New Zealand markets.
The successful candidate will drive product assortment strategies, lead a talented team of buyers, and ensure every product is in the right place at the right time.
Key responsibilities include developing and implementing strategic buying plans that align with business goals, conducting in-depth market research, leading and mentoring a high-performing buying team, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, optimizing stock availability, analyzing data and sales trends, managing budgets effectively, and spearheading collaboration with merchandising teams.

Requirements

* 5+ years of experience in merchandising, buying, or planning within the fashion, footwear, or accessories industries.
* Strong analytical and data-driven skills, with the ability to uncover insights that drive informed decisions.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to guide and mentor a team.
* Ability to think creatively and strategically, with a strong eye for both commercial and creative opportunities.
* Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
