Project Infrastructure Expertise Opportunity
A significant road infrastructure project in South Australia aims to deliver the final 10.5km section of the North-South Corridor, forming a continuous 78km non-stop traffic light-free motorway.
The project involves constructing two separate tunnels – the Southern Tunnels and the Northern Tunnels connected by an open motorway, with a combined total distance of 10.5km, open to traffic in 2031.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the design, review, and coordination of retaining wall structures.
* Provide technical guidance to construction teams during the build phase.
* Ensure all retaining wall designs comply with relevant standards, codes, and project specifications.
* Monitor quality, safety, and environmental performance of retaining wall construction activities.
* Manage risk assessments, method statements, and engineering documentation.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field with substantial experience in construction on large infrastructure projects.
* Proven track record in managing complex retaining wall engineering works, preferably within tunnel, road, or rail infrastructure environments.
