The Company

Robert Half Executive Search has been exclusively retained to identify a high-performing, driven Enterprise Sales Leader who thrives in strategic, solution sales environments. Our client is a well-established market leading global B2B SaaS technology business offering mission-critical technology solutions.

With a substantial market share globally, and on a strong growth trajectory, the firm is now looking to further expand its existing operations in APAC and is seeking a proven senior sales leader in enterprise technology solutions who enjoys building high-performing sales teams to capitalise on new business opportunities while continuing to generate sales within existing customers.

This is an impactful role for an energetic and accomplished Sales Professional, skilled at positioning and converting complex deals over long sales cycles, to join an innovative company providing high-value bespoke cutting-edge software solutions.

The Role

Reporting into the APAC market lead, and with responsibility for leading a geographically dispersed Sales team, this role demands strategic thinking, cultural intelligence, and the ability to transform prospects into long-term strategic partnerships while maintaining ambitious sales quotas across multiple territories.

This is a value-based complex solution sales function characterised by long sales cycles and high ACVs spanning several years. It is essential that the successful individual has a thorough understanding of enterprise software sales cycles and a methodical approach to territory planning, pipeline management, and account development.

The RVP Sales is responsible for:

* Recruit, onboard, coach, and manage the performance of a group of enterprise software sales executives.
* Managing the financial forecasting of revenue maintaining a high level of accuracy.
* Build strategic sales campaigns mapped to delivering the optimum business value to customers while ensuring a healthy margin for the firm.
* Proactively develop existing and new business customers in the assigned territory.
* Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, both technical and business-focused, within prospects and existing clients.
* Run post-sale client relationships to maximise product extension sales to existing customers.
* Lead and undertake sales activities from initial contact until sale closure.
* Arrange and lead technical and functional presentations to clients, in conjunction with product specialists and professional services.

Your Profile

Are you a strategic, seasoned Sales leader with a proven track record of success in complex software sales and/or large-scale transformation services sales? Do you have a ‘hunter’ mentality and thrive in high-growth environments working with multiple internal and external stakeholders to craft and project manage tailored solutions?

Proven ability to manage and inspire sales teams, coaching them to become problem solvers and masters of solution selling

Consistent track record (15+ years) of leading and selling complex core enterprise applications in Australia, New Zealand and/or the wider APAC region

Mastery of the complex end-to-end enterprise software sales cycle and effective multi-stakeholder management

Ability to sell large transformation deals to complex customers

Prior experience in core system sales (such as ERP) an advantage

Confident working with system integrators, strategic partners and technical teams to create bespoke client solutions.

High intellect and emotional intelligence with a proactive solution-focussed nature
