Disability Support Role
Seeking a dedicated and compassionate support worker to deliver personalized care and assistance to individuals with disabilities.
Job Responsibilities
* Deliver tailored support services in accordance with each client's goals and aspirations.
* Assist with daily living tasks, personal care, and mobility support to enhance overall well-being.
* Prepare meals, maintain a clean environment, and administer medication as required.
* Facilitate community involvement and social activities to promote independence and engagement.
* Maintain accurate records of support provided to ensure effective service delivery.
* Ensure adherence to disability sector policies and principles of person-centered care.
Requirements
Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or a related field is essential. A strong understanding of NDIS principles and person-centered care is also crucial.
Skills and Qualifications
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital for building strong relationships with clients and their families.
* Current First Aid and CPR certification is mandatory. A valid Australian driver's license and reliable transport are also required.
* NDIS Worker Screening Check is necessary for this role. Manual handling training is highly preferred.
