Monadelphous Mining and Minerals North West is seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisorto support our Coastal and West Pilbara operations on our major Marine Structural Integrity project. The successful candidate will oversee and supervise various exciting project works on the CLA Wharf on behalf of our major client Rio Tinto, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to highest standards of quality and safety. Previous wharf works experience is also highly desirable, as this project is set to run for the next 3 years minimum. This is a casual position, with the possibility to advance to permanent/salaried for the right person. We are offering a 2:1 roster, FIFO from Perth, WA. Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure all works are completed safely and to a high quality
* Perform specific supervisory tasks and activities to ensure the workplace remains safe
* Interpret project technical information and ensures work is performed in accordance with relevant standards and specifications.
* Conduct pre-start briefings in alignment with the information provided on the pre-start boards to ensure all team members are informed and prepared
* Adhere to the SWAAP (Safe Work Area Access Permit) process, ensuring the identification of Safe Areas of Work for all teams
* Review and sign off on Risk Assessments and permits for work tasks performed on site
* Maintain a regular presence at job fronts multiple times per day to oversee and support team activities
* Lead incident investigations, following established procedures and reporting findings
What you'll bring:
* Proven Experience of 2-5 years in Supervisory role, preferably in structural integrity/project positions
* Client Experience is desirable
* Experience with client systems
* Must hold WHS Supervisor Certificate (or have the capacity to obtain one)
* Dedication to the safety, well-being and future development of your team
* Proof of right to work in Australia
* Senior First Aid Certificate (desirable)
