**About the role**
Reporting to the Group Chief Executive Officer, the primary purpose of this position is to lead a diverse team and to create and execute strategies, with a continuous focus on excellence, for THRF Group Client and Patient Services Division.
The Chief of Client and Patient Services will have the following direct reports:
- Executive Director - THRF Group Parkinson's & Stroke
- Executive Director - Military and Emergency Services Health Australia
- Program Director - THRF Group Arthritis
- Program Director - THRF Group Creative Health
- Program Director - THRF Group Palliative Care
The Chief of Client and Patient Services is responsible for working collaboratively with the Communications & Public Affairs and Marketing & Fundraising teams to identify funding needs and gaps and to actively seek out media opportunities to build THRF Group brand.
Role responsibilities include:
- Working with THRF Group CEO, COO, CFO and General Counsel identify opportunities for expansion and integration of client and patient services for greater community impact.
- Identify and implement opportunities for broader expansion and commercialisation of client and patient services business models across Australia.
- Work with THRF Group Executive team to undertake strategic planning for the clinical, allied health and client and patient services offered by THRF Group and implement business strategies.
- Oversee, reporting back to the Group CEO, the clinical governance, compliance with legislation, guidelines, and standards for all THRF Group clinical, allied health and patient care activities.
- Work with THRF Group Executive team to develop a range of income streams to support the work of the organisation, including from government and philanthropic sources and fundraising.
- Seek new opportunities to expand service provision to our client group, including working in collaboration and partnership with other organisations.
**About you**:
To be successful in the role you will ideally have;
- Extensive experience in an allied health, public health or clinical healthcare setting and be professionally qualified to assess and guide clinical governance requirements for all client and patient services professional staff. You will have had experience or show recent capabilities in managing a complex organisational structure with an impact growth environment.
- Masters or Doctoral degree in management, public health or equivalent health related discipline.
- Executive level understanding or experience of medical research processes.
- Extensive senior leadership and management experience in successful private or profit for purpose enterprise models.
- Proven ability to work harmoniously with a high performance leadership team.
- The ability to influence and lead change.
