The Opportunity:
We are seeking a results-driven and experienced
Warehouse Manager
to take full ownership of our warehouse, logistics, and dispatch functions. This is a pivotal leadership role where you will be responsible for optimizing our operational hub, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of critical fire safety equipment, and leading a team committed to excellence. Your Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee all daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, and dispatch of orders.
* Plan and coordinate dispatch activities to ensure accurate, on-time delivery to customers and critical project sites.
* Lead, train, schedule, and performance-manage the warehouse team, fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
* Maintain impeccable inventory integrity through systematic cycle counts, stock takes, and process controls.
* Develop, implement, and refine warehouse processes, systems, and policies to enhance productivity, accuracy, and workflow.
* Ensure strict adherence to WHS (Work Health and Safety) standards, maintaining a safe and compliant working environment.
* Collaborate closely with Sales, Procurement, and Logistics teams to ensure seamless order fulfilment and customer satisfaction.
* Analyze operational performance data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
* Manage the maintenance and safe operation of all warehouse equipment, including forklifts and delivery vehicles.
* Provide regular, insightful reporting on inventory, dispatch performance, and improvement initiatives to senior management.
To Be Successful, You Will Have:
* Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar leadership role within warehouse/logistics.
* A strong understanding of inventory management principles, order dispatch coordination, and modern warehouse management systems.
* A demonstrated track record of successfully implementing process improvements and operational systems.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
* Sound knowledge of workplace safety regulations and procedures.
* Proficiency in inventory management software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
* A valid driver's license.
Highly Regarded:
* Forklift license and hands-on experience with warehouse machinery.
* Experience within the construction, industrial, or safety equipment sectors.
