Based in Bathurst, the successful candidate will lead, execute and report on the Youth Empowerment programs in Bathurst within the Panthers Foundation's Community Pillar, under its Youth Empowerment program objectives.
This role is supported by funding from the NSW Office of Sport and is a full‐time role on a fixed‐term contract through to 30 June 2027.
The Position
* Lead the delivery of Youth Empowerment programs for young men and women in Bathurst.
* Oversee and deliver the programs in Bathurst by managing school partnerships, engaging participants, promotion of the programs, upholding safeguarding standards, coordinating resources and equipment, delivery of reporting and managing budget expenditure.
* Organisation of end‐of‐program events and activities for Youth Empowerment programs.
* Build and maintain an active business network in Bathurst for mentoring programs.
* Lead the development of future programs in Bathurst.
* Collaborate with the Penrith team to finalise the Retention in female sport program content prior to delivery.
* Lead evaluation activities for Youth Empowerment Program activities in Bathurst.
* Supporting future grant applications for further work in the Bathurst region.
* Supporting all other Youth Empowerment team members within the Panthers Foundation.
* Supporting Panthers Foundation activities and initiatives at Panthers home games in Bathurst; and in Penrith when possible and where appropriate.
To be considered for this role, you will possess the following:
Essential
* Minimum of 2‐3 years' experience in the same or a similar role/placement.
* Tertiary qualification in sport and/or youth mentoring.
* Current, valid driver's licence.
* Valid, paid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC).
* Current Sports First Aid (or equivalent) and CPR certification.
* Strong organisational, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to manage multiple programs, engage stakeholders, work independently or collaboratively, and meet deadlines.
* Experience in program evaluation and reporting.
* Experience in expense management.
* Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to safeguarding and child safety protocols.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to complete administration tasks efficiently.
Desirable
* Certificate IV in Training & Assessment.
* Experience working within Rugby League (preferably coaching), sports clubs, or community sports environments.
* Demonstrated experience in leading and delivering community or school‐based sports.
* Familiarity with culturally inclusive practices and community engagement strategies.
