Financial Accountant Role
At our organization, we are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our Corporate Services Team. This is a permanent position based in Traralgon, with the flexibility to work from home or in the office.
About the Role:
* Provide financial and business management support services to the organization, ensuring compliance with relevant tax and corporate law.
* Support the preparation of financial reports for the Board and Executive Managers.
* Assist with government funding invoicing and other revenue streams according to individual contract requirements.
* Comply with Australian Accounting Standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
* Extensive experience in financial systems and processes, including budget management and data analysis.
* Ability to improve and develop financial reporting methods and techniques.
* Understanding and application of Australian Taxation Legislation, including GST and FBT.
* High level of computer literacy with accounting packages and Microsoft Office software.
