You'll play a key role in supporting how Westpac manages specialised customer compliance, including product governance, hardship and remediation activities. Working closely with product, risk and compliance teams, you'll help monitor, analyse and report on related risks across the end‐to‐end product lifecycle. In this role you'll provide practical compliance advice, respond to governance queries, and support the implementation of relevant policies. You'll build strong relationships with stakeholders while maintaining an independent compliance lens, helping teams understand their obligations and manage risk in a clear and pragmatic way. You'll be part of a collaborative compliance team focused on delivering quality outcomes for customers and continuously improving how we work. This is a full‐time, permanent role based in Sydney, Adelaide or Melbourne, with flexible working options available.
What do I need?
* Experience in risk, compliance or governance roles within a complex or regulated environment
* The ability to analyse information and produce clear reporting and insights
* An understanding of product governance, compliance obligations or conduct risk
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills and confidence providing advice
* A proactive, organised approach and the ability to work independently while collaborating with others
