The role
In this role, you will be responsible for developing fire safety strategies in accordance with the NCC and relevant Australian Standards, preparing fire engineering reports, and supporting performance solutions through to approval.
You will work closely with architects, building surveyors, and services engineers to ensure practical, compliant, and cost-effective fire safety outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop fire safety strategies and performance solutions for building projects
- Undertake smoke control, evacuation, and life safety assessments
- Prepare fire engineering reports for regulatory approval
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and approval authorities
- Support design coordination across multidisciplinary teams
- Commercial, Residential, Industrial & Retail.
About You
- Degree qualified in Engineering or related discipline
- Experience in fire safety engineering within consulting or building services
- Strong understanding of the NCC and Australian Standards
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
