About Our Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Enrolled Nurse to join our team in the Statewide Mental Health Services.
As an Enrolled Nurse, you will be working in a dynamic and supportive environment, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to consumers across the lifespan.
You will have the opportunity to work in various settings, including inpatient, respite, rehabilitation, and forensic, and will be supported in your professional development through access to training and mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality nursing care to consumers, prioritizing their physical and emotional well-being.
* Collaborate with the Registered Nurse and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
* Contribute to a positive and respectful team culture, promoting open communication and empathy towards consumers and colleagues alike.
* Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge, ensuring best practice in mental health nursing.
Requirements
* Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as an Enrolled Nurse.
* Holds a Board-approved qualification in the administration of medicines.
* Demonstrated experience or training in mental health nursing, with a strong commitment to delivering person-centered care.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
