Shorescapes Landscaping is offering a paid apprenticeship for motivated individuals who want to learn professional gardening and horticulture from the ground up.
We work on high-end residential and commercial properties across Sydney's North Shore and are looking for someone who is reliable, enthusiastic, and keen to learn.
About the Apprenticeship
This is a 4-year Parks & Gardens apprenticeship where you will:
* Work full-time with an experienced landscaping team
* Attend TAFE one day per week
* Earn while you learn
* Gain nationally recognised qualifications
On completion, you will receive a Certificate III in Parks & Gardens, with genuine opportunities to continue working with Shorescapes in a senior role.
What You'll Learn
You don't need prior experience — we'll teach you everything, including:
* Lawn mowing and edging
* Hedge trimming and pruning
* Weed control and pest identification
* Plant identification and care
* Soil preparation and fertilising
* Garden installations
* Irrigation installation and maintenance
* Safe use of tools and equipment
What We're Looking For
This role would suit a school leaver or career starter who:
* Enjoys working outdoors
* Has a good attitude and strong work ethic
* Is physically fit and reliable
* Takes pride in doing a job properly
* Can work well as part of a team
* Has good communication skills
A driver's licence is preferred but not essential.
