Job Summary
We're looking for an experienced and driven Human Resources Advisor to join our People Team based in Sydney, Australia. You'll play a key role in providing generalist HR support and recruitment services across our Australian operations.
Reporting to the General Manager Human Resources – Operations you'll deliver trusted advice, strategic guidance, and hands-on support to airport base operations around Australia.
Your activities
You're an experienced HR professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about creating positive, people-focused outcomes. You bring a collaborative mindset and are confident working with stakeholders at all levels. Your strong communication skills, problem-solving ability, and solid understanding of Australian employment law and awards will set you up for success in this role.
Lead and deliver HR projects that support business improvements.
Advise on employment legislation and best practices across Australia.
Provide expertise on employee relations matters including disciplinary processes and performance management.
Represent the company in Fair Work Commission conciliations and support senior leaders in more complex legal matters.
Review and update HR policies to ensure legislative compliance.
Partner with operational leaders to support employee engagement and drive business results.
Your qualifications
Tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management, Business, or related field
Relevant HR certifications preferred
Your profile
Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in a HR generalist or business partner role.
Exposure to working with a blue-collar workforce
Strong background in employee relations and stakeholder management.
Familiarity with Australian employment legislation and HR policy interpretation.
Experience in unionised or regulated environments is desirable.
Enthusiastic about supporting change and driving engagement.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and HRIS systems
Experience with recruitment platforms and HR analytics tools preferred
