Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. This role involves delivering advanced technical solutions across various sectors, including electrical engineering services, project management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality engineering design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
* Provide technical guidance to the electrical engineering services team, ensuring best practice standards and innovative approaches are applied.
* Lead and contribute to proposals and bids, demonstrating commercial awareness and the ability to translate technical expertise into winning solutions.
* Collaborate across our nationally dispersed offices, offering expert electrical engineering support on multidisciplinary projects.
Requirements
* Extensive experience in electrical engineering, ideally within building services (7 years ideal).
* In-depth knowledge of Australian Standards and the NCC.
* Proven capability in technical design, including design documentation, specifications, reports, calculations, drawings, cost estimation, and project schedules.
* Proficiency in industry software such as PowerCAD and AGI/DIALux (or equivalent).
* Collaborative and independent working skills, with the ability to contribute within a national multidisciplinary team.
* Strong stakeholder engagement, with confidence in communicating effectively with clients, consultants, and project partners.
* Flexibility and mobility to work on short-term assignments in remote and regional locations when required.
