We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Housing team in Adelaide.ResponsibilitiesDeliver high-quality, innovative structural designs and documentation for medium to large complexity building structures, including architecturally designed houses, estate development units/townhouses, and community facilities such as community centres and gymnasiums, with potential to work on multi-level building structures and light commercial buildings.Run projects from concept design to construction within budget and delivery timeframes, supported by experienced and collaborative building engineering teams.Assist in client management with existing clients and other relevant project stakeholders across multiple disciplines.Help develop graduate and junior engineers within the team in alignment with company goals, procedures, and strategy.Cultivate a client‐focused approach in daily work, ensuring responsiveness, on‐time delivery, and professionalism.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution.5+ years of post‐graduate structural design experience in the residential or building industry.Experience designing residential or low‐rise structural buildings.Experience designing with timber, reinforced concrete, steel structures, and waffle, raft, suspended slab, retaining walls, etc.Proficiency in engineering design software tools such as ClearCalcs, SpaceGass, Toolkit, Inducta (advantageous), and RAPT (advantageous).Ability to build rapport with clients and project stakeholders.Advanced skill in interpreting Australian standards and building codes, designing in accordance with AS2870, AS1684, AS1170, AS3600, AS4100, and NCC.BenefitsProfessional Development Support – further education, leadership development, and online training access.Flexible and hybrid work options.Up to four additional weeks of purchased annual leave.Generous parental leave entitlements – 12 weeks full pay for primary and 4 weeks for secondary carer.Volunteer leave.Health and Wellbeing programs.Employee Assistance Program.#J-18808-Ljbffr
