Desktop Support Analyst
The Role As a Desktop Support Analyst in our Kawana office, you will provide essential Level 1 support to our local team. You will handle hardware and software queries, ensuring our staff have the tools they need to succeed. This is a hands-on role where you will troubleshoot issues face-to-face, manage assets, and contribute to a positive technical environment for our Sunshine Coast operations.
Your New Team You will join a supportive, wider technical team of 11. You will work alongside a colleague based here in Kawana, while collaborating closely with the broader team based in Toowong. This structure ensures you have immediate support and a collaborative culture to help you thrive in your role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide Level 1 desktop support to internal staff, addressing hardware and software queries face-to-face and remotely.
• Assist with the setup, maintenance, and asset management of office IT equipment and workstations.
• Build strong rapport with stakeholders, acting as the friendly and approachable face of IT.
• Collaborate with your local and remote team members to ensure consistent service delivery.
• Prioritise and manage support tickets to ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Proven experience in a Desktop Support, Service Desk, or Level 1 IT role.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.
• Excellent team player with the ability to work collaboratively.
• Experience working in a highly regulated environment (such as Insurance or Finance) is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
