Our Head Office is based on the Central Coast, New South Wales with additional depots located in Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Townsville, Perth and Hobart. We have been operating for almost 40 years and employ over 250 people.

About the role

Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Project Engineer is responsible for assisting in the delivery of projects including planning, construction and post construction activities within our South Queensland/Northern NSW Stabilisation team. Manage the project quality and reviewing product standards and identifying areas for improvement. This role is a vital position focusing on the technical aspects in the industry as well as championing the project's vision and fostering a collaborative team culture.

Duties
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships by delivering advice to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Create, implement and manage projects in relation to safety, quality, and environment.
  • Manage the completion of project documentation and records on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Organisation and assessment of subcontractors.
  • Lead and manage a team.
Skills & Experience
  • Qualification in Engineering.
  • Previous experience in Engineering, 2 years minimum.
  • Knowledge and experience within the road construction industry.
  • Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage, influence and maintain relationships with operators and stakeholders.
  • Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • A commitment to safe work practices producing quality workmanship.
  • High level problem‐solving, analytical, and decision‐making skills.
