ROUSSOS Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a respected Tier 2 civil contractor, known for delivering high-quality civil infrastructure projects across South Australia. With a solid reputation in the industry, this contractor specialises in civil works ranging from $5M to $40M and specialises in a diverse range of services, from civil construction and structural concreting to large-scale commercial landscaping.
The business is on an exciting growth trajectory with plans to double in size and turnover. This growth is creating a dynamic and fast-paced environment with more complex and varied projects for their team to lead.
We are currently seeking a Project Engineer to join their team and help continue their success in delivering high-value projects. This role provides excellent opportunities for career growth as the business expands, offering stability, variety, and the chance to work on industry-leading projects.
The Role
As a Project Engineer, you will work closely with Project Managers on a range of civil infrastructure projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards. The role combines on-site and office-based work, and you'll be part of a supportive and experienced team.
You will:
* Assist with all stages of the project lifecycle, from planning to completion
* Coordinate and oversee engineering activities for civil infrastructure projects
* Ensure compliance with project plans, designs, and specifications
* Build strong working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
* Conduct regular Quality Assurance and Health & Safety inspections
* Develop and implement key project documentation, including Work Method Statements and Inspection Test Plans
About You
The ideal candidate will have a proven background as a Project Engineer, with experience in civil infrastructure projects. A tertiary qualification in Project Engineering or a relevant field is essential along with a strong ability to manage projects effectively. Excellent communication skills are key to collaborating with both Project Management and Site Supervisors. This role offers long-term career growth within a supportive, team-focused environment.
