The NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission is the independent national regulator of NDIS providers, dedicated to ensuring safe, high-quality supports for people with disability. We are seeking an accomplished senior executive to lead the Commission's national communications, engagement and education functions.
This critical role will shape and deliver strategies that build awareness of NDIS participant rights, strengthen provider capability, and enhance the Commission's reputation as a trusted regulator.
Key responsibilities
* Lead national communications, media, campaigns and engagement strategies, with a focus on achieving measurable communication outcomes.
* Oversee NDIS provider and worker educational resources explaining their obligations under the NDIS Code of Conduct.
* Build strong, collaborative relationships with the NDIA, across governments, and the disability sector.
* Ensure all communications are inclusive and accessible (WCAG 2.2 AA).
* Identify, explore and deliver new digital opportunities and platforms to strengthen the Commission's communications and engagement approaches.
About you
* Extensive senior executive experience in communications, engagement and/or education, ideally in a regulatory, disability or human rights context.
* Outstanding leadership, strategic influence and stakeholder management skills.
* Demonstrated commitment to the rights of people with disability and inclusive practice.
