Cleaning Operations Advisor

* Brisbane Based

We are looking for a Cleaning Operations Advisor to join our dynamic team at Brisbane Airport. In this crucial role, you'll provide operational and administrative support to the Cleaning Operations Team, ensuring the smooth management of cleaning specifications, loading operations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and performance reports.

As the Cleaning Operations Advisor, you will have a direct impact on the delivery of high-quality cleaning services, supporting key suppliers and stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and operational standards. You will be a detail-oriented, highly organised professional with a passion for operational excellence.

What you'll be doing

* Manage product usage, track loading requirements, and investigate any variances in product counts or reported usage
* Support with the regular updating of Cleaning Operations documents, Interior Cleaning and Loading Specifications, Onboard Cleaning & Presentation Handbook and Cleaning Operations Audit Report.
* Publish a Monthly Cleaning Newsletter for all Cleaning Contractors and Key Stakeholders.
* Develop weekly reports highlighting cost issues, non-compliance, and potential solutions
* Oversee cleaning supplier performance, contract compliance, and report on operational standards.
* Document and track monthly and quarterly performance reports, including Flight Reports, OTP, and Safety Reports.
* Review supplier compliance using systems like Touchpoint, Intelex, and Performance Log
* Represent the Cleaning Operations team in the absence of the Leader on assigned projects
* Assist with cleaning and loading inspections and audits on VA aircraft
* Collaborate with cabin crew and stakeholders to address cleaning compliance issues
* Prepare daily and weekly reports for the Cleaning Operations Leader, focusing on compliance, performance and safety
* Ensure all safety events and significant issues are documented for tracking and trend analysis

You'll be great in this role if you…

* Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
* Previous experience in Cleaning Contract Management or a similar logistics environment
* Strong communications skills and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
* Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure
* Demonstrated commercial and financial acumen, with experience in cost control and product management
* Proficiency with MS Office suite and a willingness to learn new systems
* Qualifications in Operational roles, Logistics, or Project Management.
* Familiarity with safety systems like Intelex or operational communication tools like Touchpoint.
* Passion for delivering high-quality service and continuously improving operational standards.
