Gosford Mowers & Chainsaws is a locally owned small business supplying and supporting outdoor power equipment for homeowners, contractors, and commercial clients across the Central Coast. We have been operating under the same ownership since 2012.
We're looking for a full-time Sales Assistant to join our small, friendly team. This role suits someone who enjoys dealing with customers, takes pride in their work, and wants to be part of a stable, hands-on business — not just clocking in for a job.
The Role
* Full-time: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
* Saturday work available
* Based in West Gosford
Day-to-day duties include:
* Counter sales and sales assistance
* Assisting customers with enquiries (in-store and phone)
* Parts lookup and ordering
* Booking jobs and basic admin tasks
* On-the-job training provided
* Supporting the team with general day-to-day operations
About you:
* Retail and/or sales experience (required)
* Mechanical or technical knowledge is a strong advantage to this role
* Reliable, with a good attitude and strong attention to detail
* Comfortable dealing with a wide range of customers — homeowners through to contractors, councils, and retirement village staff
* Enjoys working in a small team environment and takes pride in contributing
* Looking for a long-term role, not just "any job"

A driver's licence is preferred but not essential.
