We are seeking a senior leader with proven expertise in remediation, complex change, and operational risk to join as Executive Manager, Line 1 Risk Administration. Reporting to the Chief Transformation Officer, this newly created role exists to strengthen governance of the outsourced Administrator, embed the Trustee's Risk Management Framework, and support delivery of a major Board-level remediation initiative.
This role will play a pivotal part in uplifting controls, enhancing assurance, and ensuring operational resilience across critical areas including claims management, fraud prevention, IT controls and CPS 230 obligations.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead governance and oversight of the outsourced Administrator's risk and controls environment
* Deliver a Board-level remediation program addressing legacy issues and uplifting controls
* Support implementation of a fit-for-purpose Administration Framework
* Oversee operational risk management across critical functions and member service standards
* Provide risk reporting, assurance and independent challenge to strengthen decision-making
* Mentor teams and drive a culture of accountability and excellence
About You
* Senior leadership experience in financial services (mandatory)
* Strong track record delivering remediation and complex change programs
* Knowledge across superannuation, insurance, outsourcing, assurance and regulatory reform
* Familiarity with APRA Superannuation Prudential Standards (particularly CPS 230)
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels
* Relevant tertiary qualifications; RG 146 desirable
