Please note: this position will move to a 7 days a week rotating roster once services are moved to Wollstonecraft.The CFHN will use a strength-based and wellness focus, building on parental confidence and skills through the provision of information, education, resources, guidance and role modelling safe responsive care. The child and family health nurse, utilising evidenced based screening and assessment tools, uses their family partnership skills to identify health variations or family vulnerabilities in order to negotiate individual care plans and discharge pathways to meet the goals of the family.The successful applicant/s will be supported by a comprehensive onboarding programme which includes innovative clinical supervision that will further increase your knowledge and confidence.The Royal Society for the Welfare of Mothers and Babies, trading as Tresillian, was formed in 1918 to coordinate early child and maternal health care services in New South Wales (NSW).
