About the Role
We’re seeking to employ an experienced Management Accountant to join our Finance Team based at our Head Office in Kwinana, WA. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering a chance to contribute to a high-performing team in a supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Completing the month end process which includes sourcing data, preparing and posting journals
- Preparing accurate monthly management accounts for operations including various calculations, variance analysis and meaningful commentary
- Balance sheet and bank reconciliations
- Building and maintaining partnerships across the business to facilitate the management reporting and budgeting/forecasting process
- Assisting with the management of fixed assets and fixed asset register
- Assisting in the budgeting and forecasting process
- Assisting with audit & year end preparation and reporting
- Compliance - FBT & BAS return preparation, assistance with income tax return
- Continuously develop and improve systems, processes, and procedures to deliver a more effective service
The Successful Candidate Will Have
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce or/and Finance essential, with CA/CPA qualification highly regarded
- Excellent time management with an ability to priorities and plans tasks effectively, whilst ensuring strong communication with team leader on key updates
- A motivated & self-driven attitude with the ability to work as part of a team or autonomously
- Strong attention to detail
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with a proven ability to interact and engage with stakeholders across the business
