Key Responsibilities
* Manage the packing and removals team to ensure timely delivery of our services and meet high customer expectations.
* Oversee the entire moving process, from packing and loading to transportation and unloading, focusing on quality and care.
* Maintain and supervise the inventory of packing materials, equipment, and vehicles.
* Monitor inventory levels and arrange for packing supplies as needed.
* Provide direct support to the team during peak periods or complex moves.
* Foster a safe and positive work environment and provide coaching and development opportunities for team members.
* Liaise with the customer service team to address any customer queries or concerns.
Requirements
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in a packing/removals management role within the transport and logistics industry.
* Exceptional planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
* Strong leadership and people management abilities.
* The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
* In-depth knowledge of packing techniques, materials, and equipment.
* Forklift and other machinery operating licenses are highly valued.
* Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills.
