Job Description
Oversee the organisation's financial operations, including budgeting and reporting.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and not-for-profit guidelines.
Develop and implement operational strategies to support organisational goals.
Manage and support the administration and facilities teams.
Responsible for managing a diverse range of external stakeholders overseeing multiple priorities.
Provide strategic advice to the leadership team on financial and operational matters.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including funders and suppliers.
Monitor and enhance organisational risk management frameworks.
Lead improvement initiatives to optimise processes and resources.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Head of Business and Operations should have :
A recognised tertiary qualification in either Business, Finance, Law, HR or similar.
Strong finance expertise with oversight of financial management, budget development, and compliance reporting.
Experience in the not-for-profit sector or education would be beneficial.
Strong operational and strategic planning skills.
Experience with compliance and risk management practices.
Ability to lead and manage diverse teams effectively.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
