Job Title: Kitchen Assistant
We are seeking an experienced and diligent Kitchen Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our care community, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and supporting quality meal service for our residents.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of food preparation, safety procedures, and cleaning protocols. They will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organised kitchen and dining area, supporting meal preparation and service, and carrying out general cleaning duties including mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitising high-touch areas.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen and dining area
* Support quality meal service by assisting with food preparation and serving meals to residents
* Carry out general cleaning duties including mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitising high-touch areas
Requirements:
* Prior experience in aged care, cleaning, or food service is preferred
* National Police Clearance (no older than 2 years) is required
