This is a rare opportunity to join a dedicated, capable team in an interesting and dynamic role, responsible for keeping the Angove Renmark winery and St Agnes Distillery operating.
About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Tradesperson looking to take the next step in their career, in the capacity of Maintenance Fitter.
Our maintenance team is responsible for maintaining the Company's assets including winery, distillery and bottling production equipment whilst also managing our environmental obligations.
This role would see you:
* Undertake maintenance and repairs of plant and processing equipment such as crushers, presses, pumps, filters and fittings.
* Undertake effective maintenance and equipment troubleshooting along with exceptional planning and problem solving
* Operating mobile equipment and plant if required
* Assist with the supervision and training of Apprentice Employee
* Assist with developing standard operating procedures, risk assessments and other documentation as required.
About you:
We are seeking a person who:
* is trade qualified
* has experience across a broad range of food processing or other equipment
* is goal oriented and possess high levels of energy
* has the ability to work within a small team
* Enjoys variety in your work role and solving problems
* has exceptional time management and communication skills
* Whilst the position does not involve shift work, applicants must be available to participate in a rotating on-call arrangement during vintage.
