Disability Support Role Overview
We are seeking experienced professionals to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with disabilities.
This role requires providing person-centred care and support to clients with varying needs. Daily tasks may involve accompanying clients on outings, assisting with medical appointments, and offering emotional support at home.
To succeed in this position, you must possess:
* A reliable vehicle for work purposes
* High Care experience (desired)
* Mental health experience
* Experience working with challenging behaviours
* Trauma-informed care experience (desired)
* Cert III in Disability or equivalent experience
* A valid Working with Children check
* First aid/CPR certificates
* A full Australian driver's license
* Punctuality and reliability
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Empathy and initiative in a disability support environment
In addition to these requirements, you must have the right to live and work in Australia.
This is a casual position with no remote work options.
