WHAT YOU’LL DO
As the Retail Merch Lead, you are responsible for:
Allocation & Campaign Set-Up
Set and execute allocation strategy together with IOL based on commercial priorities.
Align campaign plans and allocate stock across all stores.
Manage delays, substitutions, and commercial actions with HOM and IOL.
Follow up on incoming and delayed campaign articles.
Develop key product/garment group strategies for allocation and assortment.
Implement & Execute Regional Merchandising Strategy
Implement regional assortment aligned with the regional team.
Optimize local sales peaks driven by calendar and customer behavior.
Manage all related information such as kickoff, sale packs, BF-packs, and other directives.
Understand your market's retail situation, competition, and customer profile.
Stay updated on assortment, demand, and inventory strategies.
Drive Inventory Management
Coordinate full-price, discount, and sales activities in line with regional strategies.
Manage stock, sales, and end-of-period inventory according to plans.
Follow assortment and allocation guidelines and adapt for your markets.
Monitor store stock levels and collaborate with inventory teams to resolve issues.
Implement regional strategies for key categories and react to in-season performance.
Follow-Up and Reporting
Provide structured sales updates to the commercial team regularly.
Review and improve your commercial plans annually.
Visit stores twice a week to verify and adjust commercial actions.
Track KPIs and benchmark performance across regions.
Collaboration
Report to the OMNI Head of Merchandising and work closely with local teams (Visual, Marketing, Warehouse) and regional teams in Sweden.
Candidate Profile
Sales-driven with strong commercial awareness and salesmanship.
Analytical and capable of driving product excellence and performance follow-up.
Excellent communicator with presentation skills.
Self-motivated, independent, and team-oriented.
1-3 years experience in merchandising, inventory, or supply/demand planning.
Proven track record in executing commercial plans.
Proficiency with merchandising systems and tools.
Deep retail operations knowledge and market trend awareness.
Experience in post-season stock management.
