PCYC Bateau Bay offers a vibrant and diverse range of activities, welcoming all members of the Central Coast community.
With approximately 2,740 members across multiple categories, the club provides opportunities for people of all ages and interests.
Facilities include a fully equipped gym, two indoor sports courts, outdoor tennis courts, a dedicated boxing gym, martial arts training space, music tuition studio, and more, making it a true hub for health, recreation, and personal development.
About the role
Fitness Instructor – you will be responsible for inspiring and delighting our members by delivering exceptional experiences.
You will conduct small group training sessions, health and fitness assessments, new member inductions, assist prospective members with enquiries, and more.
In this role, you will:
Deliver outstanding member experience through in-person and personalised fitness services.
Assist with day-time gym operations, including reception desk services and administration.
Assist with lead generation, sales and retention activities.
Ensure the facility is clean, safe, and running efficiently.
Promote the club within the local community through outreach and marketing efforts.
About you
Are you self-motivated with a passion for health and fitness, and have flexibility to work early mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends?
As well as...
Certificate III in Fitness (minimum)
Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Knowledge of fitness industry trends and customer preferences
Outgoing and friendly personality
A positive role model, collaborative and team-oriented
Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
