The Goondi Pub The Goondi Hotel About Company The Goondi Hotel is looking for an experienced qualified Bar Attendant Supervisor.
The position reports to the manager and is responsible for ensuring customers are served in a professional and timely manner, and that stock and takings are managed effectively and efficiently. The role is also responsible for supervising one or more other bar staff at any one time, and for training bar employees at a lower level. Tasks: Supervising and training other bar attendants of a lower grade for the venue Assist the manager with end of shifts reconciliation of transactions Banking of cash and ensure the till is adequate for change Assist in rostering of staff Coordinate and manage the bar stocktake Preparing, serving and selling cocktails, mixed drinks, bottled, canned and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to patrons Tapping kegs and attaching supply lines Replenishing drink dispensers, shelves and refrigerators Qualifications and experience: a relevant certificate III and at least 1 year work experience or at least 2 years relevant work experience in a similar environment.
Licences: QLD RSA/ RSG / RMLV / Queensland Approved Manager Licence Must have good English speaking and writing skills. As the hotel caters to an international clientele, fluency in a second language will be highly regarded.
