As the Pharmacy Assistant - Stores you will provide support in the provision of pharmacy services as directed by the supervising pharmacist while also ensuring an active and effective team member by working co-operatively within the pharmacy team.
About The Team
CHQ Pharmacy is dedicated to providing and supporting high quality clinical and medication management services to the children and young people of CHQ. The pharmacy service has a staff of approximately 110, including pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, administrative staff and support staff. The pharmacy team provides services to inpatients, outpatients, hospital in the home, cancer care services, poisons information, aseptic compounding, clinical trials along with safety, quality and governance. The Queensland Poisons Information Service is part of CHQ Pharmacy and provides 24 hour a day emergency service in cases of poisoning.
About The Role
In this role you will deliver quality outcomes for children, young people and families (Leader of Self) in accordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service and the CHQ values. Your contribution will include:
* Deliver routine pharmaceutical support services and undertake a range of tasks under the direction and supervision of pharmacists or technicians.
* Assist with inventory management within hospital and health service facilities including receiving, storage, distribution and stocktake of medicines.
* Co-ordination of pharmaceutical delivery services, data entry to assist with goods receipt, inventory management and stock control, delivery of pharmaceuticals.
