We are seeking to establish a pool of Science Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year.
Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Note: This position is being advertised as part of a recruitment pilot designed to simplify the application process for teachers.
A mandatory CV template is provided for use.
Application requirements include character limited responses to address only 2 Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL) domains at application stage.

The Role
Suitable applicants should possess the professional knowledge, understandings, and experience to deliver an engaging and relevant secondary school Science curriculum and ideally have proven success working with very able students.
They should be committed to developing curiosity, innovation, and imagination in every person through inspiring minds and learning for life.
Teachers with experience teaching Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) Chemistry and/or Human Biology courses are encouraged to apply.
Knowledge and/or experience teaching Gifted and Talented students is desirable.
As a teacher at JCCA, you will ideally support the implementation of the College's Strategic and Business Plan, be committed to whole college approaches and initiatives and have a strong evidence-based approach to teaching.
