We are seeking reliable, confident, and resilient Support Workers to provide person-centred in-home and community-based support for young people and adults with complex needs.
Higher pay rates are available for applicants who meet advanced criteria and bring substantial relevant experience to the role.
You will be supporting individuals with:
* Complex Mental Health (CPTSD, BPD, ASD, PDA, extreme behaviours)
* Cognitive or Physical Disabilities (Parkinson's, Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy, ABI, Dementia)
* Trauma histories and family dynamics
Support may involve:
* Personal care and hygiene support
* Manual handling and hoist transfers
* Daily living and community access
* De-escalation and emotional regulation strategies
* Working alongside families to create safe and empowering environments
This role is hands-on, dynamic, and rewarding – ideal for workers who thrive under pressure and can maintain professionalism and boundaries while delivering compassionate care.
Essential Requirements:
* NDIS Worker Screening Check (or Blue/Yellow Cards)
* Cert III in Individual Support (or relevant qualification – enrolled students welcome)
* Reliable vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
* Strong communication and documentation skills
* Passion for supporting diverse needs and improving lives
Highly Desired:

* Experience in youth residential care or disability support settings
* Training in TCI, MABO, or similar behaviour management frameworks

Rostering & Support
* Recurring weekly rosters designed to provide consistency and prevent burnout (max 2–3 shifts per week with one client)
* Shifts: typically 3–5 hours, occasional extended shifts
* Weekly total: approx. 10–20 hours
* Management support including:
* Buddy shifts with detailed participant packs
* Ongoing supervision and confidential support
* Monthly staff meetings & training opportunities
* Active monitoring for burnout and roster adjustments
