Electrical Maintenance Technician Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team. The role involves maintaining high-end automated material handling solutions critical to our customer's business.
Key responsibilities include conducting electrical maintenance inspections, diagnosing and repairing electrical systems, ensuring compliance with electrical safety standards, and assisting with mechanical duties as needed.
The ideal candidate will have strong electrical knowledge and experience in industrial control systems. They will be responsible for performing regular maintenance tasks and troubleshooting electrical issues to ensure smooth operation of the system.
Our service approach combines specialized material handling expertise with local implementation, ensuring customers receive world-class service from our experienced team.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct electrical maintenance inspections and perform routine maintenance tasks
* Detect and diagnose electrical faults using advanced testing equipment
* Repair or replace faulty electrical components as required
* Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently
* Assist with mechanical duties as needed
Requirements:
* Relevant qualifications (Cert III in Electrotechnology) and contractor/supervisor license
* 3-5 years of relevant experience as a Service Engineer/Technician
* Strong understanding of industrial controls (PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, etc.)
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work at heights and confined spaces
