Due to the continued expansion of our National Service Centre, Olympus Australia is inviting expressions of interest from skilled Repair Technicians to join our growing team in Notting Hill, Melbourne.

About the Role
As a Repair Technician, you will play a vital part in our Service team. Your focus will be on repairing, servicing, and conducting final inspections of medical equipment to ensure compliance with Olympus’ global standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform quality checks and final inspections of repaired medical equipment before release to customers.
- Carry out repairs and servicing on endoscopes, including fault diagnosis, disassembly, repair, and reassembly, following technical instructions.
- Provide feedback to Technical Specialists and Team Leaders on inspection findings and assist with solutions.
- Maintain accurate records and update SAP systems to track work progress.
- Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas comply with 5S standards.
- Proactively raise and address quality issues, proposing corrective actions.
- Uphold Olympus values while delivering consistent quality in all repairs and inspections.
What We’re Looking For
- Ability to solder lead-free wires (32–42 gauge).
- Strong mechanical aptitude with assembly/disassembly experience.
- Competence in interpreting technical drawings and following work instructions.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to fine detail.
- Strong planning, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in computer systems and the ability to work independently.
Shift & Training
- Afternoon Shift: 2:30 pm – 10:30 pm.
- A comprehensive 2-3 month training program willbe provided on Day Shift (6:00 am – 2:00 pm) to set you up for success.
