Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Commercial Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout our motel facilities. The role involves cleaning guest rooms, bathrooms, and communal areas to ensure a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
* Vacuuming carpets, curtains, and upholstered furniture in guest rooms and communal areas.
* Cleaning, dusting, and polishing furniture, fixtures, and fittings.
* Removing rubbish and recyclable materials, emptying bins, and replacing liners.
* Cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms and laundry facilities, replenishing supplies, and reporting defective plumbing fixtures.
* Stripping, waxing, and polishing floors as required.
* Operating industrial cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor polishers.
* Cleaning walls, ceilings, and fittings to maintain a hygienic environment.
* Ensuring all cleaning chemicals and equipment are used safely and stored appropriately.
* Reporting any maintenance or safety issues to management.
Skills and Requirements:
* Previous experience in hotel, motel, or commercial cleaning roles preferred.
* Knowledge of safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
* Good communication and time-management skills.
